The Woods Duplicate Bridge Club (WDBC) is an American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) sanctioned organization. The ACBL club number is 261230 and is in District 4, Unit 168. WDBC operates two sessions for players of all experience levels. All events are non-smoking and carry-in alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
The first session is played weekly. The start time for beginning play is 6:00 PM each Tuesday. Entry fee is $1.00 per player for all events. Masterpoints are awarded as a class 4, Open club type, single session, and scoring is handicapped (see table below). Club championships are conducted quarterly and award masterpoints at 65% of the rating for a sectional event. Charity games will be conducted frequently, which award masterpoints at 100% of the rating for a sectional event.
The second session is played twice monthly, usually on the first and last Sunday of each month (check the Upcoming Events tab at this website to confirm game dates). The start time for beginning play is 1:30 PM Sunday afternoon. Entry fee is $1.00 per player for all events. Masterpoints are awarded as a class 3, Invitational club type, single session, and scoring is stratified (masterpoint holdings of 0-5, 5-20, and 20-NLM). All non-Life Masters are invited to play.
The club adheres to the Berkeley County Schools Inclement Weather Policy for closures due to ice and snow.

Directions to the WDBC are as follows:
From I-81, use exit 16W (Route 9, West) and go 12 miles to Mt. Lake Road (road signs marked for The Woods Resort).
Turn Left and follow double yellow line for 3.8 miles to Wintercamp Trail - GOLF Entrance to Woods Resort (2nd entrance, 1st entrance is Lodge and Restaurant).
Turn Right on Wintercamp Trail and travel one block to Clubhouse Ridge.
Turn Right on Clubhouse Ridge and immediate Left into parking lot. The game is played in the lower level Clubhouse Activity Room, which sits below the golf pro shop. Entry to the clubhouse is through the doors near the flag pole or from the outside ramp golf cart parking area.
